Kelly Madsen you were born to be in film…you have the best actress award down!Brian what is up with the blow dryer in the men’s room? Brody needs a bath, but is apparently still making friends, but they seem to be leading him around on the leash….must be the smell Is anyone else goign to miss Becca nd Lindsay as much as me? Come October I’ll be counting the days until they come home for the holidays!Mia and Brittney are close and like to snuggle. The van-jammin was awesome and I’d like to learn all the moves. The track stars are impressive, instead of cheestos and chocolate (my fave) they buy apples at the store and walk on their hands. The jump accross the mighty miss was a stitch. I see Allison is singing…good keep practicing we need you next week. Lauren L you remind me so much of me…youmake me giggle. Megan is keeping tabs on Erin…good to know
Have fun in the Name of God…we miss you all very much!
God Blessings,
Deb
Today is your last day working at the reservation. Enjoy your day and keep making those connections with the people of the community.
As I said a day earlier; Lions and tigers and bears! Oh, my! I should have said; Squirrels and rocks and bears! Oh, my! You sure have many mascots on your journey with you. Ronnie the squirrel and Ippy the bear need to make it safely back to St. Mark and tell their story to the children of St. Mark through a children’s sermon! Oh, I almost forgot, the pet rock. Not sure about that one… )
By the way, LD and LM, I haven’t allowed anyone to sleep in your beds while you’ve been gone. Not even Zena Linz.) “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed and she’s still there!” exclaimed Baby bear. Oh that Goldilocks…
Have a great day and safe travels to Minneapolis tomorrow. Have fun shopping at the Mall of America!
God bless you all and I can’t wait to have you back home.
I can’t wait to get older. You guys are so crazy, and funny! You guys arn’t afraid to be yourself, becasue every one around you loves you! lol.
Christopher
P.S. I like what Blake said. (Even tho I have a clue what he’s talking about….)
Great T-shirt, Jake!! I bought tickets for “The Dark Knight” at the IMAX on Friday, August 1. Spik and Whitney will be able to go, too! I bought 7 tickets …so everyone can go! Love ya, Mom
Erin, I think you’ve found your calling… Choir Director!! You really had those gals singing out loud in the van. Thanks for driving our kids and making the trip fun, and for teaching them that they can Praise God with song… anytime… anywhere… even in an 11 passenger van! I thank God for the time that you are devoting to the youth group.
Hi, Jillian. I watched your video with Jo. I was a bit scared when you were jumping into the Mighty Mississippi. Your mom and Jo got my hair all “fancied up” while I was in WDM this week. We played Rook, and Kyle won the prize. I want to see your pictures when you get home. Love, Grandma Dort
Jillian, I loved your text message that you sent before you left. I showed the videos to Grandma. We liked seeing you dancing and singing with your friends. I’m praying for you and your youth group. I can’t wait to hear about how God worked through you this week. See you when you get home. Aunt Jo
Jillian – We’ve enjoyed watching the videos and seeing how much fun (and work) your group is experiencing. We’re proud of you and see how much your light is shining through especially when you are helping others! You are in our prayers!
Love, Auntie Sue and Amanda
Sounds like you’re all have a great time and doing good deeds on top of it — what a deal! I hope the rest of your trip continues to be great and you have a safe trip home. Becca, Ingrid and Dollie say arff (that’s “Hi” in dog talk.)
These videos are such a great way to give us a glimpse of all you are doing! We so look forward to seeing the new one each morning – I’m not sure what we will do next week when there won’t be any daily videos. Maybe the beginning of some type of movie ministry is in the future for St. Mark Youth. You have a lot of great acting gifts in this group!
St. Mark is truly blessed to have such an amazing group of youth that is excited to share God’s love with others. Thanks for being you and for your willingness to grow in faith this week! The other true blessing is that we have awesome adults willing to give their time in order for you all to be in MN serving in Christ’s name. Thank you Brian, Erin and Jake – you all are awesome and your dedication is much appreciated!
Enjoy the rest of your trip and we wish you safe travels back. Can’t wait to see you all and hear more about the adventures you encounterd. God bless – Cynnamon
Hello to all of you! I agree with Cynnamon, I’ve enjoyed having a video from all of you each day! It will be even greater, though, to have you all home and to hear more about your work and fun times. Drive safely, sing well, enjoy the nice beds Saturday night, and thank God for all of the gifts you have been given. You are a talented bunch!
Love,
Robin
P.S. No, Mia, you may NOT bring a bear home. Siri, make sure she doesn’t try to sneak one in the van.
Love you,
Mom
Jillian, I had fun trying to find you in the pix today. That was a cute bear story about Mr. Ippy. Keep singing all the way home. We promised you a special lunch and maybe you will tell us about your week.
Love ya
